If you regularly use and operate scissor lifts and mobile personnel platform lifts in your work and or projects, our IPAF category 3a mobile vertical training courses will improve and enhance your understanding of how to use this type of powered access equipment appropriately.

Course Aims.

Our IPAF approved training courses enhance the knowledge of scissor lift and vertical mast lift operators. This course provides an awareness and understanding of how to setup, use and manoeuvre mobile elevated working platforms. This two part, one-day course features a classroom based theory session and full hands on operating and usage training.  At the end of each section, our IPAF approved training instructor will assess the capabilities of each attendee. We offer daily training courses for up to four people at our training facility on Torrington Avenue in Coventry.

After successful completion of both the theory and practical assessments of this IPAF category 3a mobile vertical and scissor lift training course, each trainee will receive an approved IPAF powered access qualification, allowing them to use:

Who Should Attend This Course.

This IPAF 3a Scissor Lift Training course in Coventry will meet the needs of a powered access engineer who uses scissor lifts, mast lifts and personnel platform lifts in the course of the daily working activities. The qualification is widely recognised across the construction industry and by organisations such as the Health & Safety Executive. IPAF Qualifications

After successfully completing the IPAF category 3a mobile vertical lift training course, a trainee will have shown that they have the skills, knowledge and ability to operate scissor lifts, mast lifts and personnel platform lifts to the required standards as defined by the International Powered Access Federation.

The attendee will also be able to download their personalised digital Powered Access Licence (ePAL) that is widely recognised across all industries. The licence lasts for a period of five years and can be renewed easily, before the expiry date.

An attendee can request a printed Powered Access Licence and this can be ordered at anytime at additional cost. The course instructor can provide further details during the course.
