We are recruiting for a Junior Hire Administrator who we can guide, nurture and educate on the fundamental aspects of the Plant Hire Industry. The successful applicant will be confident and outgoing enough to build and manage day to day business relationships and develop high levels of customer service.
As one of the leading Plant and Access Hire specialists in the West Midlands, we provide a first class hire service, sending out a diverse fleet of high-quality machines including Excavators, Dumpers, Compaction Rollers and Scissor and Boom Lifts to our customers. No two days are the same in our business.
We are looking for someone to join our growing team at Clements Plant & Access Hire at our depot in Coventry. The role is full time and no experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

Ideally, the right person for this role would be just leaving education and looking for their first employment opportunity. You should be confident and have a happy outgoing personality and keen to learn and develop a career in a flourishing sector of industry.
Full training will be provided for the right candidate and your core activities will include:
- Managing incoming orders from customers, processing and following them through to completion.
- Handling customer enquiries and providing quotations.
- Assisting with the delivery and collection of orders in accordance with the customer’s requirements, ensuring that all details are present and correct.
- Building relationships and liaising with colleagues, customers, other depots, workshops and sales teams.
- Ensuring that all opportunities to maximise sales from customers are attained to assist with achieving depot and group sales targets.
- Ensuring that all products hired to customers are safe and have been properly tested in accordance with company procedures.
- Applying a professional and friendly welcome to all visitors, customers and staff to the depot.
- Efficiently processing onto the IT system all the paperwork relating to new hires, off-hires and stock transfers.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the plant and equipment available for hire and sale.
- Handling online and cash transactions on a daily basis.
- General and ad-hoc in-depot activities as and when required.
- Providing support and effective communication with other Clements team members.
