Clements Invests in new scissor lifts

Clements Increases Compact Scissor Lift Fleet

Clements Plant & Access Hire in Coventry have added to their fleet of compact electric scissor lifts by investing in ten new access platforms from West Bromwich based Dingli Machinery. The new machines are already available for hire from the Torrington Avenue depot.

Since the beginning of 2023, the company has witnessed the rates of scissor lift hire in Coventry soar and the purchase of the all electric access platforms keeps pace with customer demand. The order comprised of three 5.6m working height machines, four 7.8m and three 10m scissor lifts to add to the already impressive fleet of Dingli’s that the company owns.

Clements Director, Adrian Hutchinson explained “We have been so busy hiring out scissor lifts, boom lifts and construction equipment in the first few months of the year, so we have been adding new kit all the time. The delivery of these scissor lifts will mean we are able to service more customer requirements and continue to deliver the first class hire service that Clements are synonymous for in the West Midlands”.

“We’ve always invested in the best, high quality machinery to ensure we are able to service the needs of our customers. The majority of our scissor lift fleet has been supplied by Dingli because we know they can be relied on, and they are extremely easy to operate.”

The narrow electric scissor lifts are all less than 800mm wide and suitable for all types of working at height applications, including those where you need to reach over obstructions at lower heights. All of the new machines have slide out platform extensions.
