Coventry’s No1 Independent Hire Company, Clements Plant & Access Hire have continued investing in new equipment, expanding the fleet of machines available to hire.
To keep pace with customer demand, deliveries of new scissor lifts, boom lifts, excavators and a number of skip loading, tracked and forward tip dumpers have arrived at the Coventry site. Clements offer the highest quality equipment and have sourced the latest additions from world leading manufacturers such as Kubota, NiftyLift, Dingli, Slane and Thwaites.
Chairman of Clements, Jim Longstaff commented: “We are experiencing unprecedented demand for hire equipment from our customers so we want to ensure that there is availability of equipment to meet our customers requirements”. “Utilisation levels have been consistently high throughout the year, consequentially, we have continued to add new equipment”.
He continued: “Our fleet of Kubota excavators are extremely popular so we have taken delivery of ten new machines ranging from 1.0 ton to 5 ton. To complement these we have added eight new dumpers including three 3-ton forward tip and four skip loading dumpers”.
The stock of Kubota excavators has continued to grow and now stands at over 70 machines ranging in capacities from 1.0ton up to 8ton.
In addition to the construction equipment, Clements have also invested in a number of new cherry pickers, mast lifts and scissor lifts to further increase the number of access platforms available for working at height applications. Five new Nifty Lift Height Rider (3 x HR21 & 2 x HR12) boom lifts arrived at the beginning of September. Three of the machines are environmentally friendly, all electric boom lifts that can operate both internally and externally. The high capacity batteries deliver extended operating times between charging intervals.
